Leave No One Behind Partnership hosted a webinar at the Asia-Pacific Stats Café series

Event Date: 2022-08-08

The LNOB partnership hosted a webinar for the UN ESCAP’s (regional body of the UN for the Asia-Pacific Region) Asia-Pacific Stats Café series. The Asia-Pacific Stats Café series responds to country requests for advice, assistance and an opportunity to share experiences related to the impact of COVID-19 on National Statistical Systems.

The ESCAP expert dialogue titled, ‘The Expert Dialogue on Data Partnerships to Leave No One Behind: Ways forward for citizen-generated data (CGD)’ discusses possible ways forward towards establishing a closer data collaboration between governments and civil society in the region. Speakers presented some of the ongoing citizen-generated data (CGD) work of UN ESCAP, UNSD, and of the LNOB civil society coalitions in Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Viet Nam. We also received inputs from a government and a national statistics office on their perspectives of CGD.

The webinar was held on Monday, August 8th, 12:00 – 1:30 pm Bangkok time.
