Making the voices of marginalised groups heard and count through data: In this side event at the Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development 2022, we will present the experiences and learnings that we harnessed from the Asian member countries of our international Leave No One Behind partnership. The purpose of this initiative is to promote the generation and use of community-driven data, aiming to give voice and agency to marginalised groups who are at risk of being overlooked in the implementation of the SDGs. The session will feature learnings and insights from civil society groups in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Vietnam and their efforts on bringing community-driven data to use in SDG monitoring and political decision making processes.
